I think anyone telling others to take doses like 5g as if it’s a normal thing to do better think twice about handing out advice you could seriously fuck someone up

I got 400mg psilocybin gummies, I took one the other weekend and it was pretty fun but nothing crazy. I’ve had shrooms in the past, at least a gram worth, other than that I’ve only microdosed smaller amounts. I kinda wanna pop like 3 or 4 of these boys but need to choose a good day.

It always seems like flipping a coin though, I swear I’ve had religious experiences on a microdose before.

Heroic doses are 7g and up. The last few times I've done doses like that I end up going in causal circles the whole night, which tells me, the mushroom has already told me everything it could.

I think it is dangerous to tell people to take 5g of psilocybin mushrooms in general and i believe you should just get a decent supply so you can experiment with lower doses first to gauge the potency.

Better to trip a handful of times honing in on a dose you like than jumping straight to 5g when youve never done them before or never tested the batch before.

My grow is only mycelium rn but the jars are almost fully colonized so Ill soak them in water in the fridge soon and then put them in a fruiting chamber and start caring for them daily:)

I've been traumatized by mushroom experiences more times than I can count. My good trip/bad trip ratio is about 30%, regardless of the dose.

2. I haven't gotten anything useful from mushrooms in 8 years. This isn't bias. This is experience. At the beginning (late 80s), every trip was an adventure. But somewhere in the mid-90s, the amount of NEW information I was able to glean each trip (from 1.5g to 8g) tapered off sharply. One of the better trips was that 1.5g trip, when I laid down in a closet and met Teonanacatl and he gave me a name (that I later learned was an Arabic name with a very pertinent translation; no, I don't know Arabic or any Semitic language). That was probably the last time I had a "great" trip. It was 2008. Making assumptions about people's experience and depth of study shows YOU to be the biased one.

While peaking to the point all i could do was lay there and have immense waves wash over me, my arm and bed and wall in my vision kind of morphed into a landscape, my arm became a mountain and a river appeared beneath it (my bed) and some sort of feminine earth spirit in the sky (on my wall)

The visions were in neutral earthtone colors and were not super saturated more ethereal.

I’m not certain that psilocybin will make u start seeing tons of shit that isnt there but who knows everyone is different
