Some of the foundational premises of the typology are just not grounded in anything real, but more made to fit into the framework of C.G. Jung's personal belief system.

This system has severe limits, but the general idea to observe trends in cognition is actually a good one.
Astrology can be suprisingly accurate use proper sideric placements of all 7 planets and get the calculation done by someone who knows what they are doing who considers all houses, all planets, all signs of all planets and all positions of all planets and the lunar nodes(rahu and ketu) and all the special points.
I think Jyotish is the best astrological system by far, but it needs great intellect and a lot of calculation. The best astrological read I got was from a person using a variant of Jotish interpretation.
