MBTI is a flawed system.
Some of the foundational premises of the typology are just not grounded in anything real, but more made to fit into the framework of C.G. Jung's personal belief system.
F.e. It makes zero sense that a persons function must alternate between extroverted function and introverted function in the function stacks.
This system has severe limits, but the general idea to observe trends in cognition is actually a good one.
Astrology can be suprisingly accurate use proper sideric placements of all 7 planets and get the calculation done by someone who knows what they are doing who considers all houses, all planets, all signs of all planets and all positions of all planets and the lunar nodes(rahu and ketu) and all the special points.
I think Jyotish is the best astrological system by far, but it needs great intellect and a lot of calculation. The best astrological read I got was from a person using a variant of Jotish interpretation.

Astrology can be more limiting but there’s more interpretation in the data. Schools disagree much more than psychologists disagree over the extroversion or introversion in MBTI and there’s a ton of that too
MBTI is flawed as well. The best parts are the Jung parts. The first three letters are more telling because the last describes which of the first ones you use first or most i can go on about the issues with both systems but find the personality tess are more accurate forms of divinination than astrology or iching, tarot, runes etc
The older schools require more artistry and intuition to interpret so the practioner matters more

astrology is obviously interwoven with the idea that planets and stars are powerful intelligent beings who have a definite influence on all things on earth.

There is a real thing that is "ISFP" for example, but tests don't always detect them, and descriptions don't always tell the truth about them. It's like social insect castes: Imagine them taking a test to see if they're queens or workers, and writing descriptions about them. Huge opportunity for error.
