npcs cannot distinguish between the two.
schizo npcs like abraham are the worst sort, the sort of people who are invited into the Mystery, but it breaks them. and they fall into the semitic spectrum, and get cast out, their knowledge is fictional, inventive and non-applicable to reality. they try to meme it into reality, because in their minds, its reality itself that is wrong, and only they are right. they bring discontuinity and unsyncroneity into the world, whereas the platonic noticer schizo tries to bring it all into alignment, so it just gels without the necessity of the puppet strings, it creates its own music which harmonizes to the music of the strings in their ideal form, the third way.
for donnie there should have been multiple water portals/puppet strings,
- the npc string, the water vortex he sees his sister travelling - this is fate
the two noticer strings, the strings which a person in donnie's position himself would see, these are the fate (npc) and destiny (ascension to player) strings.
time travel obviously wouldnt be a factor irl, but:
the (player) destiny string ending is - had sex, she dies, shot bunny (an eye for an eye), burned down pedo jew's home and ended his crimes and literally stopped 'the anti-christ'
the (npc) fate ending is as if he was never contacted and died in his bed, sacrificing himself so that swayze diddler can go on raping kids, the old woman isnt redeemed, a girl he never met isnt killed, nor is frank, a grug brained pos who do what feel good and who doesnt know to drink and drive without killing kids. its the worst choice.
theres a level after that, donnie darko were the spiritual semite options, but i wont get it, its not relevant to donnie, nor you.
