Traditionally, the most seen UFO in human history is not the flying disc, but actually the small orb UFO. They appear too small to be manned by a living organism. They are colder than 32 degrees farenheit. This is proven by a thermal FLIR capture of the 2013 Aguadilla, Puerto Rico orb.

The object has no visible propulsion system or aerodynamic surfaces, yet travels at 120mph.

It moves too fast for a balloon and exhibits controlled flight.

It can multiply into two objects without appearing to lose mass.

No transponder or radar signature, despite proximity to an airport.

Entered the ocean and exited without creating a splash or slowing down, which violates expectations for known aerial or aquatic tech.

Similar orbs have been spotted in Mosul, Iraq and Bosnia amongst other places. The Betz Mystery Sphere I theorize to be one of these spheres. Most recently, a sphere has been found and collected in Buga, Colombia with ancient turkish writing on it.

In April 2023, during a public Senate hearing, Dr. Kirkpatrick (then head of the Pentagon’s AARO – All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office) presented declassified imagery of a UAP in Mosul, captured by a U.S. drone. The object was:

Metallic and spherical.

Roughly 1 to 1.5 meters in diameter.

Hovering or moving erratically at mid-altitude.

No visible propulsion system, no wings, no exhaust, no flight surfaces.

This matched over 50% of UAPs in their database, according to Kirkpatrick. He stated that these spheres are often seen globally, especially:

10,000 to 30,000 feet altitude. At subsonic speeds, but capable of sudden maneuvers.

Alien AI, ancient tech, what could these be?

The story begins after a brush fire swept across the woodland near the Betz family's property in 1974. While inspecting the aftermath, Terry Betz, a 21-year-old pre-med student, found a shiny metal sphere about the size of a bowling ball (about 8 inches in diameter), lying among the ashes. It had:

A mirror-like metallic surface, but appeared weathered

A perfectly spherical shape, with no visible seams or markings

Weighed around 21 pounds (9.5 kg)

The Betz family began to notice unusual behavior when interacting with the sphere:

Self-propulsion: When placed on the floor, it would roll away on its own, often making sharp turns—seemingly reacting to people nearby or sunlight.

Vibrations and sounds: It would hum or vibrate, occasionally emitting a metallic ringing or low-frequency throbbing.

Magnetic behavior: It responded unpredictably to magnetic fields and would sometimes resist movement or return to its original position.

“Balancing” effect: When pushed, the sphere would often stop on its own, even on a sloped surface.

Internal mechanisms: Shaking the sphere revealed a faint rattling sound, as though something inside was moving—like a gyroscope.

The U.S. Navy (Mayport Naval Station) examined the sphere, and this is what they found:

No radioactive emissions

Magnetic properties were “mild,” but real

The shell was made of a high-grade stainless steel alloy (possibly 431 stainless, common in aerospace applications)

They could not X-ray or penetrate it — it was exceptionally dense and resilient

The sphere was stolen by Dr. J. Allen Hynek at a convention, and this was confirmed by Hynek's son after his death.

Lets talk about the most recent account. The Buga Sphere.

Witnesses in early March spotted a shiny sphere—about 50cm in diameter—floating or flying before it landed near Buga
.
It was recovered by locals, who claim it weighed ~11kg initially (then around 2kg)—oddly changing mass. It felt ice‑cold to the touch; vaporized water instantly. Produced illness symptoms (nausea, headaches, lost fingerprints) after handling.

The sphere has a seamless, multi-layered structure, with no visible welds or joints. X-ray and CT scans revealed three distinct layers of metal-like material, with 16 to 18 internal micro-spheres arranged symmetrically around a central “chip” or core. The outer casing is high density—comparable to titanium or steel, though spectrographic analysis reportedly suggests an aluminum alloy (e.g. A413) with trace elements like silicon and zinc.

A UNAM study (Mexico) found optical fiber components embedded around the sphere's equator during SEM (scanning electron microscopy) testing. These fibers ranged from 40 to 350 µm in diameter, suggesting possible data-transmission capabilities. The equatorial band where these fibers appeared also included copper-colored terminals or pins consistent with fiber coupling, visible under magnification.

The sphere features etched symbols, including geometric shapes and glyphs resembling Ancient Turkish, Ogham, or Mesopotamian script, and resembling other ancient writing systems.

>The Mosul Orb

On April 16, 2016 at 09:47 UTC, a U.S. military MC‑12 reconnaissance (or MQ‑9 Reaper) aircraft captured full-motion video of a metallic spherical object (now referred to as the Mosul Orb) flying at a steady altitude above Mosul, Iraq.

The orb appears fully metallic and reflective, with no visible wings, propellers, exhaust, or control surfaces.

It moves from south to north across the frame and stays at constant altitude with no climb and no descent. Observers note its motion as purposeful yet anomalous, with no apparent explanation consistent with conventional aircraft, balloons, or drones.

The orb image and ministry briefing are part of a classified U.S. intelligence dossier—referenced in the ODNI’s Preliminary Assessment (2021) and follow-up reports.

Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, former AARO director, described the Mosul Orb as: “A spherical orb, metallic… typical of objects seen worldwide. Seems under intelligent control”
— stating that these orbs are a recurring category in U.S. sensor data, but none have been identified or explained.

Longbow281:
Date: November 6, 2018

Platform: U.S. Army AH‑64 Apache attack helicopter (callsign Longbow281)

Location: Training mission over Arizona

The crew recorded three unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) using their aircraft’s FLIR thermal camera. These objects initially moved in a loose triangular formation before performing a tight circular “dance” around each other, all while moving eastward steadily.

Objects are circular, featureless, and maintain no heat signature in IR. They spin around a central point in coordinated motion—rotating 360° in less than 3 seconds. Throughout, the formation continued at a steady heading without apparent propulsion or lift surfaces.

Chris Lehto, a former USAF F‑16 pilot who reviewed the footage: Estimated that if objects were just one mile away, their angular motion implies speeds of about 1.28 Mach—well above sound speed.

He calculated turn rates on the order of 70 Gs, far beyond the structural limit of any known aircraft, including F‑16s. Overall conclusion: "without a doubt anomalous."

No visible propulsion: no wings, rotors, contrails, or exhaust. No thermal signature: the objects remained cool in IR despite rapid motion.

Efficient spatial maneuvering: capable of tight formation changes and sustained flight without loss of synchronization.

Lets take a blast to the past.
>Misawa "disc"

The story was declassified by US Air Force Technical Intelligence (ATIC) and referenced in NICAP archives, rating it as a confirmed military case (#29) from Project Blue Book-era intelligence reports

Date & Time: March 29, 1952, around 11:20a.m. local time

Witness: Lieutenant David C. Brigham, U.S. Air Force pilot from Rockford, Illinois

Location: Approximately over northern Japan, near Misawa Air Base

Aircraft: Brigham was piloting a T-6 reconnaissance aircraft, with two F‑84 Thunderjets conducting an intercept exercise

Brigham saw a disc-shaped object, about 8 inches (20 cm) in diameter, described as "very thin" and shiny like polished chromium. It had no visible protrusions, no vapor trails or exhaust, and maintained a metallic reflection driven by sunlight. The UFO matched speed with the F‑84, closing from behind and then flipping on its edge at a 90° bank, within 30 to 50 feet of the aircraft. It hovered briefly (~2–3 seconds), fluttering in about 40° banks every second, then maneuvered around the starboard wing before performing a near-vertical climb and disappearing.

Brigham reported the orb went from closing speed to F‑84 airspeed almost instantaneously. The orb displayed poscillation in steep bank patterns at ~1‑second intervals, unlike any known aircraft. It was able to transition from slow hover to high-angle vertical ascent in seconds.

I guess nobody is interested in real, substantial UFO accounts. They just want to be fed goyslop and schizoid ramblings

They can be anything, it's too broad to really discuss since all theories are equally valid with so little to go on.

when it's multiplying into two objects, that is actually a distortion of the light path from the object, it's still only one object. its a type of electrically modulated refraction

my take is that it's clearly made by humans. I wonder how old it is. It could be ancient tech that's still floating around somehow. Or it could be controlled by someone nearby, but most likely a human.

But then does that mean it's a scam? Or does that mean that there are people out there that are able to make this stuff on their own and start flying them around?

On March 1, 1639, John Winthrop opened his diary in which he recorded the trials and triumphs of his fellow Puritans as they made a new life in America. As the governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony put pen to paper, he began to recount a most unusual event that had recently caused a stir among the English immigrants.

Winthrop wrote that earlier in the year James Everell, “a sober, discreet man,” and two others had been rowing a boat in the Muddy River, which flowed through swampland and emptied into a tidal basin in the Charles River, when they saw a great light in the night sky. “When it stood still, it flamed up, and was about three yards square,” the governor reported, “when it ran, it was contracted into the figure of a swine.”

Over the course of two to three hours, the boatmen said that the mysterious light “ran as swift as an arrow” darting back and forth between them and the village of Charlestown, a distance of approximately two miles. “Diverse other credible persons saw the same light, after, about the same place,” Winthrop added.

The governor wrote that when the strange apparition finally faded away, the three Puritans in the boat were stunned to find themselves one mile upstream—as if the light had transported them there.
