I used to play a lot of Phasmophobia with my 2 friends. If you're unfamiliar, it's a game where you have to follow the clues that a given ghost leaves to identify it correctly, when your sanity drops low due to being in dark rooms or witnessing ghost events, the ghost becomes more active to the point of starting a hunt intended to kill you. one of the ghost events is the ghost manifesting where it shows in a terrifying form, humming, flickering lights, and sometimes ending with a huge light bulb explosion.

Once, we finished gaming at like 2 AM, I went to take a leak to the bathroom, and the moment I turned on the light, it started flickering for a couple of seconds and exploded in the end.

Haven't been this terrified of anything in my entire life.

On the side note, that whole apartment was probably haunted as one time I woke up, went to the toilet and found faint traces of blood in the shower, like what the fuck.

Playing this is VR has been a lot of fun. But the game is too shallow ultimately
