We are in a simulation. Certain people are "admins" that can adjust your code and know all of the truths reality but they keep it secret from us "basic users" of the simulation who are fully amnesia-induced at birth. I'm not sure if we're code or we're in VR bodysuits but there is a base reality outside of this for sure. When we die, we either:

>B. Exit the simulation and get unplugged, returning to base reality which is a good place like heaven where there is no pain and only joy.

Here are my thoughts

A. If we go to a VR heaven/hell it's because we wanted to go there. It would depend on us creating and playing our character with the intent of seeing that post game content so to speak
B. If a we exit the simulation and the base reality is like heaven where there's no pain and only Joy, why would we be tempted to play the game in the first place when we can the endless Bliss that exists therein. Thus some part of us wants to perceive pain and suffering, so we decide to go back into the simulation
C. If we exit the simulation and all is pain and suffering, then naturally we would want to enter into the VR world where we can manipulate events to ensure that we stay happy or at the very least, stay in a constant state of existence that we so choose. In which case, exiting the simulation to go back to that pain and suffering would just remind us what despair is, and we will decide to go back into the simulation rather than persist in that world.

As for myself, after this playthrough, I want to go into a modded version where I can play with big titty anime women and be the hero I'd like to be. Now, to be sure I could do that as I am now, but part of entering the simulation means forgetting who we were before and fully absorbing into the new identity that we provide. When creating this character it may sound good, but then halfway through the playthrough you realize it's shit and you want to start over but you can't start a new game until you finish the game you initiated. Thus we're here. So make the most of it while you can, because you chose this!
Besides, it's not all that bad, we're in a modern Age where we get to use the internet and not die of dysentery at the age of 9

Here is the thing about "God" vs "Satan" in this realm. They're really just two sides of the same coin. They're brothers and this is a trap. You can worship one or the other but you're still under their control and can never leave this place.

The smart thing to do is to ignore both and try to work your way back up to what you really are.
