Hi guys, trying out some /x/ stuff, namely chaos magick / new age beliefs such as the line.

I want to ask a question, is there anything /x/ related that can be done to overcome ADHD?

If not, thats also okay, ill be restarting ADHD meds in August anyway.

"Oh no a thread that isn't endless christcucks arguing and conspiracy theories! Time to start another argument because I cannot sit still for more than 30 seconds without shouting into the void that is the internet!"

Exercise. Specifically outdoor or not stationary exercise. Its so cliche but its also very unique if you find the right place. Walking running whatever down a trail or path that stimulates your brain while also releasing the chemicals associated with being active is a really good temper for ADHD. The trouble most people have is finding spots close to them to do so without feeling like they need to drive to a national park or somthing. In Denver I had 3 different ones less than a 2 minute drive from me. Had to google maps to find them or explore but it helped a great deal for me.

The most /x/ thing that actually works in regards to ADHD is meditation. Of course sitting still is hellish for us ADHDers, but since you want to go the /x/ route, maybe you can fall down that spiritual rabbit hole and have hyperfocus for long enough to build an actual habit.

Already do a lot of that. 15 minute walk to work and on my feet all day, I cycle recreationally, and I used to compete in mid-distance running (5k-21k).
I am looking for the next step beyond that, Since I already am pretty physically fit and good at working out / having a consistent physical thing to do daily, but still struggle with attentiveness and executive function outside the realm of physical activity.

Bonus tip: Don't actually try to silence your mind when it refuses to quiet down. Just let it go. Follow the flow. Eventually, it gets calmer by itself.

Also it helps if you have a smartwatch and can track your mileage steps etc. Take notice of the the stuff around and go early in the morning. Nature is boring during mid day. I would go around 6 every morning and would see a pack of coyotes almost every morning doing somthing different while on their way back to their den. (This was in the middle of Aurora, CO next to a highway and like 1/8th a mile from my doctors office.) Even if you dont care about nature it will give your brain some stimuli it needs

Good one, I have definitely been going more for "control over mind" than letting it run when I meditate.

How do you deal with frustration when you have your smartwatch on? I used to run with one and would be disappointed when my pace was below expectations, and would resultantly over-train myself to injury trying to keep up with my PRs and ideal splits. Thais also the reason I don't compete as a runner anymore, I would just get injured too often when I was training towards a specific goal like 5k PR.

What is it you're struggling with the most? What do you want to achieve when you say "overcome ADHD"?

executive function and distractability. I want to be able to sit down and finish a project I started, or have the foresight to do things which I know I have to do, like apply for internships, but which cause mental hardship or turmoil.

regardless, this issue will be resolved in august when I am back in university and able to get meds from the school again, but I just wanted to know if there was a paranormal or occult practice I was not aware of for this subject.

Having an expectation is the problem lol. Its suppose to be just a tool for tracking I used as a way to see what milesatones or landmarks meant what. My watch died after two years of having it. It was nice to have because it let me keep track of stuff. Idk Im only giving you my version of my adhd. and how I cope with it.
