tough call. go slow and pay attention, maybe read the Monroe Books. Fear and low vibratory state can make scary things real, so definitely learn to vibrate higher which basically means to lose all fears especially during the process.

you are doing the same thing just way slower now, which might be ok for you. the good thing is that if you get into trouble it can be fixed. youll be changed because you will discover for yourself that there is more to this reality. mkultra was not a fear i had, but the vrill story as told by donald marshall made me rethink.

there is also a point where you may be "kicked out" so dont go there too often, just visit when you have a reason or need something or even something to offer

Thank I will do more research on Monroe Books.

I don't know if I have something to offer there, but recently I can enter vibrational state pretty easily when before my mind would be a jumble of thoughts, I have been living in solitude also basically practicing the five precepts in Buddhism, my current struggle is during the breath-lock state, I got panic and snapped back.

its ok if you dont, just thank those who have helped you. Its more like, dont go without a purpose just to hang out.

breath-lock is about overcoming the fear. the books talk about that. it is the point where your autonomous nervous system takes over breathing while your mind is still awake. it is not dangerous and you cant die as a result. its all about leaving your fear behind. the gateway tapes walk you through a process that may or may not help, but it is certainly possible to overcome.

Do you ever do the opposite practice?
Kevala Kumbhaka is more like a traditional emptying practice.
Maybe try Qigong, where you align yourself to one thing across many dimensions at once(emotion, mental image, symbolism, motion, breath, color, concept, vibration)
That is if you're not already doing something like that.
Think of it like exercising your body, mind, and spirit as one thing.
If you're unfamiliar with the practice, I'd recommend starting with
>Wuji Stance
>8 Pieces Brocade(Ba Duan Jin)
If you overdo Ba Duan Jin, you'll feel like you have the flu due to the effect it has on fascicle tissue.

I've only managed this once and it was spontaneous, and only lasted about 30-45 seconds. That was plenty. Now, I play the game called life. One thing about the experience: it started by me rolling out of my body backwards down through my mattress into the whateverness, starting with my head. (my lack of attachment to whatever was there, and my lack of interest in documenting the specifics of the transition seemed to be important to the success)

I didn't practice Kevala Kumbhaka though.
I mean I enter that states of breath-lock.
It is automatic now, at threshold hour, I'm already in vibrational state.

I wasn't paying particular attention to anything besides the intention of "letting go". I was unaware of my breath.

Sorry for the double post. I just remembered another detail: I was maintaining a bit of muscular tension by holding my body at a 30 or so degree angle rolled to the right. The transition happened when I hit the mind awake body asleep state, but it wasn't standard astral travel. This felt like I got pulled out of the simulation back home. I don't want to describe what I saw or felt, but suffice it to say it was beyond sublime. The reason I even answered the thread is, I tried for over 30 years to break through that barrier. It's self-imposed, and somewhat necessary for immersion in this experience, IMO.

I'm not sure if it's similar to OBE for your case.
The breath-lock state I mentioned feels like I'm suffocate, like you cannot break. I did some research it's when you no longer feel your body, and the last stage is you no longer feel your breath and the survival instint kick in, I hope I don't spend 30 years to bypass this :D

There's more than one way to skin a smokewagon.
You don't have to stop breathing to get to Nirvana, just like you don't have to die to get to the Kingdom.

It helps you to reach a relaxed state as you search for the source. It takes your mind off the fact that your body is going through a difficult transformation right now.

It's an esoteric way to steady the mind while holding the breath. View this reality with a scientific mind as a simulation and rely on source energy instead of breath for sustenance.

the spiritual path is progressively surrendering your life into the hands of the object of your devotion
like trusting your teacher that sitting silently, turning away from the world and wasting your time is the most valuable use of your time
we give up all manners pleasures and comforts through our faith in this pursuit which others see as nothing short of psychotic
understandably so, because intuitively we all see the final step coming, it’s there hidden in the first step and every following step
the final step requires you to be either insane or have incredible trust
the final step requires you to leap into the void, territory completely alien to you, which is no small feat
you don’t know whether you’ll be safe, whether you’ll return or if you’ll even live
the final step is to surrender your very life
to whoever it is you trust
your guru, God, Christ, Buddha
you have to be willing to die
how deep is your faith?

I'm an atheist, but lately I lean toward the collective consciousness (Source or God).
I believe there are layers upon layers below and over this reality.
Maybe I should give trust to this Source?
Willing to die? Does that mean other experiencers are suicidal? How do they kill their survival instint?

You’re on this path because you have faith in the destination. You haven’t seen it for yourself but you’ve heard stories. The City of Gold, El Dorado, Shangri La, Heaven. A place where misery is a myth, where lack is unheard of, where problems are a laughable idea. No one else buys these crazy stories and they continue about their dull routines but you know that just the slimmest chance this world exists is worth risking everything.
You’ve been given a map by someone you dearly trust and eagerly you’ve set off.
The way is treacherous and you come across various trials, each one more difficult than the last. They test your resolve with a question
>What does this destination mean to you?
then
>Are you willing to leave your friends and family behind?
>What if it meant losing all your money?
>Your possessions?
>Your precious thoughts and beliefs?
>Your body?
Until at the final door
>How about your life?
You’re not asked to die. But you’re not guaranteed survival. You might lose everything or you might lose nothing and gain everything.
What is the destination to you and is it worth risking everything?

stop that. It’s fine if you don’t believe in the man in the sky fables, those are storytelling devices and the stories are often retarded. But of course God exists. One name, like you suggested, is Source. However don’t put blind faith in anyone who claims to know the nature of God.
