thats not claimed at all. what happened is that NAA had a big change of management at all levels, some previously recommended design changes were made to the CM (different hatch for quicker exits, no high pressure pure 02 atmosphere on the pad, changes to wire routings) and then it worked much better. 18 months is a long time.

All that exists are second generation copies of what was filmed on the mission control projector. They not only denied the networks access to the live feed they lost the fucking only copy of it.

Now it seems to me something like that should have been sent unedited to the library of congress right away. no, you have things mixed up. what happened, and only for apollo due to equipment upgrades in later missions, is that the signal broadcast from the LM back to earth was an a combined (unified) format, meaning that all the information (telemetry, the video etc) was all contained inside one continuous radi0 signal. that had to be separated out either at the receiving radio telscope or at mission control. the video footage was displayed on a display which was able to use the extracted data stream, and that was filmed using a standard broadcast camera. that was the best way at the time to change the format of the video stream and get it onto the TV networks.
The tapes that were copied over were the backups tapes from the receiving radio telescope. all of the data was extracted from them. the only thing missing is the slightly higher resolution video stream, since they still didn't have a better way to extract it.

there is no missing footage - we can see everything that was filmed.

THEN, what you are ignoring, is that all the footage, of higher quality, from all the other landings, is available.

His initial plan was called DIrect Ascent and did involve a single large rocket that would land on the moon, than launch again for the return to earth. As you can imagine, that would have required a great deal more fuel. Its similar to how spacex wants to use refueling tankers in orbit, since their plan is to land upto 100 tons of cargo on the lunar surface and reuse the landing vehicle over and over again.

the acceptance of an alternative method of reaching the moon called 'Lunar Orbit Rendezvous' was pretty well rejected for several years because of the added complexity of using multiple expendable vehicles. My best guess is that what we know as the Earth is simply a crater on a much larger body. The so-called "Antarctica Ice wall" is simply the rim of the crater. It's the mountain range that makes up the rim and its glaciers. Beyond it just a short distance you go down the other side of the mountain range and into lands unknown (at least to us). The major powers developed long range aircraft in the 1930s-1940s and figured this out. After WW2 during the 1950s they started sending down permanent expeditions and established a presence there. They probably bumped into other life/people living outside of this crater and made deals with them to prevent knowledge of the outside lands from spreading here. Or perhaps they've known about it for much longer than they're telling us. Either way, this crater we're in operates as a prison. They make sure to keep us inside of it and no one is allowed out unless they're given permission. That's why it's so hard to get a job in on one of the bases and everyone is watched like a hawk whenever they're on them. Also why the tours you can sign up for only go to the same handful of places near the shoreline.

Again my best guess: If you start at the southern tip of South America and go straight across to Antarctica there is a passage between two mountains that you could probably cross on foot if you took enough food with you. It looks that way on the maps we're allowed to see anyway. Admiral Byrd got out easily with an aircraft.

The Moon is not what they tell us it is. The moon is a melted part of the firmament, the bubble that encloses the earth. The earth collided with the sun or possibly venus due to this breech in the firmament. This event also caused the desertification in Africa and the change in the length of the year.
