I would hope that most Thelema practitioners would have that moral dam, so to speak, That would guard against the more nefarious self -serving desires and goals. Perhaps a Thelemite would need to practice their faith in a manner that serves the greater good, even if some of it comes at the expense of the self. Not to give a complete moral ambiguity, just because you rape a kid to save someone's life doesn't mean that you didn't rape that kid, but if some say theft is needed in order to save the many, there might be some leeway to play with. I would think that an individual would need to agree that they may do as they will, so long as they are willing to face the consequence of public discourse of opinion against their end goal of doing well.
That said, many practitioners do not have that mindset and do see it as a way to enjoy lolicon paraphernalia and other undesirable acts, without their own perceived judgement, while also disregarding the judgment of others as well.
