I know how you feel, I have to deal with similar things myself. And to answer your question it's social engineering. Through years and years of this brainwashing through media people began to understand a new moral truth and what is good, promoting LGBTQAA2++++ and everything else that falls under that umbrella. It's not enough to believe in it, it was also their moral duty to promote and spread it as well to make sure other people do good and have a good society. It started out as people actively thinking about going out and spreading the word, about being politically active. Soon enough however it became ingrained into their very well being. It was no longer about politics or being good, it's just how the world should be naturally. So they began acting unconsciously.

So now we get to why these people are acting crazy. The truth, like always, will catch up to them. This truth however is the very embodiment of evil as it goes against everything they believe in. Not only that but it goes against their survival instincts. Humans evolved to act appropriately and do what's good for the tribe. If they accept this truth they will be kicked out of the tribe and left to die. This new truth is a threat or perhaps even a test to see if they are truly good to their own tribe. So they ignore it, bury it deep away but their soul knows its the truth so a paradox and a contradiction is born. So they act more neurotic, they have to prove to themselves they are in fact good so they get more and more extreme to prove how good they are as their narrative falls apart and the truth slowly seeps in.
