This is a paradox, physically speaking.
The ego (body, brain) are meant to entrap you in context. You believe your limits are real, because you technically are your limits.
Most people who spout shit about NPC's are themselves NPC's, with programming that finds itself to be real. Truly everyone thinks this way at some level. If you trust yourself completely, blindly, then you are an NPC. Maybe you have high stats, but that doesn't discount the fact. To control your destiny is to give credence to it.
