I am an Essene from Nazareth.
I know what you believe, because it came from our Father in heaven.
Blessed are you poor one in spirit; for yours is the kingdom of heaven.

You serve man in exchange for mammon.

I serve no man, and I am free from the desire of mammon.

You cannot serve two masters.
The reliance, dependence, and greed - it has no place in the life of one who is truly free.

I only found out about Ebionites when I met one last year, he was debating some Christian street preacher about Jesus's divinity saying he wasnt the son of God, and I was surprised as a muslim because I didn't know there were still Christians like that around. I think you're more rightly guided than most modern day Christians so I wish you well the same way the early Muslims supported the Romans over the Zoroastrians because the former were closer to monotheism than pagans.

What's your thoughts on Muslims? I barely see any other Muslims on /x/ apart from schizos who read one treatise on Sufism and try to implant their shirk and paganism and magic into it. It must be similar for you being from an even smaller religious group.

Are you a Nazarene or an ebionite? I thought they were two different things, similar but differing on the virgin birth. Did you know the Quran calls all the early Christians, "Nasara", as in "Nazarenes". It has a double meaning; the word NaSara is the root of Ansar in Arabic which means "helper". And in the Quran, 3:52, it says,
"When Jesus realized they [still] did not believe, he said, ‘Who will help me in God’s cause?’ The disciples said, ‘We will be God’s helpers(ANSAR); we believe in God- witness our devotion to Him."

>he was debating some Christian street preacher about Jesus's divinity saying he wasnt the son of God
Then he wasn't an Ebionite because we believe Jesus is the Son of God.

I consider them righteous gentiles who, if they continue to uphold the law, will be saved. Of course Islam isn't perfect and has some errors in it. One of the biggest downfalls of the religion of Islam is that Muslims still engage in some aspects of animal sacrifice, as if this were pleasing to God. But you must know that God only permitted sacrifice for a time, because the people of Israel were prone to idolatry. When Jesus came be abolished the practice of animal sacrifice. There are also a few other errors as well, like saying Jesus was born of a virgin and denial of Jesus's pre-existence as the Christ. Still, I would agree that Muhammad had the gift of prophecy, and he was sent to counter-act the false idolatrous versions of the religion of Christianity that existed at the time.
