They always talk about being from certain constellations, like Lyra and Orion, but constellations only exist in our mind, the stars may look close together in the sky but if you look at them from a different angle you'll see that they're often nowhere near each other and it makes no sense for a spacefaring civilisation to colonise those stars in particular

We try as the best we can. we dont care about the rules unless someone is hurted. if we suddenly appeared in front of you, it would be like exposing a baby to the core of the sun in 3D.
