Regular dreams. I made contact with federation entities. They keep tabs on me from time to time. Sometimes I dream of space ship adventures with them. I can pretty much decide what I want to dream about, where/when/who/what, and then I just go there and see it and explore it.
I've explored primeval earth when it was still ruled by megafauna and predatory plantlife.
Explored various alien interactions with primordial earth. Various dreams about life and people on Mars. Traveled across ancient Atlantis trying to uncover whatever bits of ancient earth based spirituality I could find. Visited Egypt at various stages of its existence. From a time the entities there straight up told me they were Pleiadians, to when it was being rebuilt by Ptah after Atlantis fell, to when its civilization was covered by dust and ruin, being rediscovered.
To the Hittite Oracles, and the Greek Olympians, to Rome and its glories and follies.
To the fall of Constantinople. Various invasions of cities I don't know. My transferences to other starsystems to learn on other worlds from different peoples, and my returns to earth to continue developing my soul as a human in an environment closer to my level of development.
To my lifetimes from before I even came to earth as a human, living in space, as a refugee from a war which destroyed my homeworld.
I'll tell you, aliens don't really mean shit compared to the power of the soul. That is the only thing which endures.
