dreams
do you ever get vague dreams and weeks, months later they come true? in the moment you think "wtf i dont live here/work here/know these people" but months later it comes to be?

i dream about things months or years before, and when they come to be, i feel like i am on the right path in life. it happened most recently in my cross country move and new job. anyone else experience similar?

Why do I never have dreams?

Because you don't try
Start counting your fingers on random moments during your days, do it when you're doing shit like driving or grocery shopping or talking to someone
eventually it will be such a habit you'll do it in your dreams as well, when you count things in your dreams they usually don't make sense, so you'll count 4 or 6 fingers while seeing 5. That's when you know you're dreaming and you'll remember it more easily. Also write everything from your dream down as soon as you wake up, just a few key words, on a notepad on your phone or on paper, read it later and try to fill in the rest from memory

Yes, all of the time.

Yes it used to happen to me as a kid, but not as an adult.
it's a common occurrence known as deja vu, or simply put "the human condition"

basically human memory is not perfect, we often forget things obviously, but sometimes we remember stuff that didn't happen. if you try to remember the last time you saw a bottle of coca cola, you might end up remembering seeing it in places that in truth it wasn't actually there, you only thought you saw one.

notice that you don't really think about these dreams after having them until the event happens. This is because you never actually had that dream.
When the event happens you're mistakenly thinking you had a dream about it before. You had a different dream and simply misremembered.

Yeah I've been saved from myself multiple times because of prophetic glimpses of my potential future. Pretty sure it's aliens trying to program people, but I've just used the information to escape the space opera we live in.

Yes, absolutely.
My situation is quite strange and i tend to not share it with people too much, but sometimes it scares me.
> be me, around 17yr
> in a road trip through scandinavian peninsula with my family and my dad's friend
> trying to get from eastern finland to norway
> on a road 8-10hr/day
> it's boring as hell, so i just read my books, listen to music and sleep a lot
> get a strange dream while sleeping in the middle of the day
> im standing in what appears to be a public bathroom
> it is clean and nice everywhere, good lighting
> i see a big guy walking out of the bathroom stall
> he's a big scandinavian dude, almost 2 meters high, great beard and long blonde hair
> he is dressed in a jean shorts and a red flannel
> wake up from gentle taps on a shoulder from mom
> "hey, let's go get some food"
> stand up and get my clothes
> look outside
> it's quite chilly outside, very light rain is pouring
> pickup my hoodie and head into the restaurant
> it's a finnish restaurant stylised as an american diner
> order some stuff to eat
> head in the bathroom to wash your hands
> open up a bathroom door
> feels strange...
> a dude walks out from a bathroom stall
> its a fucking big viking son of a bitch with gorgeous beard and long hair
> mf dressed in a jorts and a red flannel
> freeze for the couple of seconds, recognizing you have seen this EXACT moment in your dreams
> a glimpse of a terror arises somewhere deep inside
> "hey, why you're standing here like a statue"
> my brother came in and put me away from freeze

This was the first event ever like this that i have ever experienced. They are still happening to this day.
I hope im not alone in this and somebody shares their similar experience, because this is some weird nietzsche shit that was bothering me for a long time.
Also i would love to answer any questions if anyone would be interested

Years ago, I dreamed about Chinese people, wearing protective equipment while they were sorting through the rubble of destroyed buildings. A few days later, I saw that there was an earthquake in China.

In July this year I had a dream involving a tsunami with some weird time stuff happening, I think around the 20th, and when that day came a massive earthquake struck Russia. If you go through Archive4plebs you can probably find it. In January this year I had a dream involving a ship called โ€˜The Black Moonโ€™ departing, possibly with me on it. That corresponds to an astronomical event on the 22nd of this month, I wonder what will happen then.

Yes. My dreams have an image, information, and optionally a date and "confidence".

The image has smokey edges and has faint colors. The actual content of the image is not blurry but is not "in focus". It is like when you are looking at something but not paying attention.

The information is very faint. It is not a clear thought but more like a "notion". Like when you are home alone and you think you heard your name, but it was so faint that you are not sure sound actually reached your eardrums. Like that but inside your head: are not sure if your brain is actually having thoughts.

A date could be "july". The confidence tells me if it is this year's july, a week inside july or the month july. The date has "padding". If it is not this year's july, then it is the july in 2 years. If it is a week in july, then it can happen 2 weeks before or after. If it is this year's july, then it can happen 2 months before or after july. If there is no date, it defaults to 2 months.

i had a dream the other day that a man finally fell in love with me, we married and had about 10 years of the good life, then he beat me regularly and told me he was cheating on me. Eventually he threw me out and when I landed on the sidewalk I woke up.

Hoe often these images come true? When it does, is the moment identical to image or slight changes are possible?

Yes, it's called prejavu.
It's always something innoculous though, like walking somewhere or some other mundane event. It always ends with me dying though, it's fascinating. Doesn't scare me, just intrigues me.

No, but I'll borrow your thread to say that I met god last night in my dream. Looked like a generic older male human, but he communicated telepathically. He was very vague about everything, but I got the sense that he sees human as entertainment and that was also the reason I met him, I was entertaining to him. He also communicated that angels are boring.

nobody has. there's no such thing as "the future". it's a man-made construct. in fact, there's no such thing as time. that's also a man-made construct

I keep having dreams about submarines at the moment. As in, I'm on one sailing around under water taking orders. There's usually a big battle as well with something like a dragon. I don't think there's any meaning to it, I just have a weird imagination. The only thing that does occasionally happen is if I'm stressed out, my ex will show up in my dream and start saying nice things. That's about it.

When I woke up this morning I felt like (cw:gore)
I was getting disemboweled.
Images of it flashed in my mindโ€™s eye. I couldnโ€™t get those thiughts out of my mind. I canโ€™t remember whether it initially came from my dream. I wonder what that was about.

Yea, you are basically following through on what your soul planned on doing. Life goes better when you do what your soul wants, rather than going against it.
Anonymous No.40861915
absolutely not
I get dreams and deja vus (which I think is what happens after the thing happens, and also you mostly forgot about the dream) except they're bad. They're good in the moment like kissing a girl I don't even know, and then I meet her but then she ruins my life so fuck. That right there is the story of my life because shit will actually start to happen for me like good shit then shit goes absolutely fucking purple potato

Holy crap, that's some gnarly stuff, bro. Maybe you're not getting enough sunlight in your life to help stabilize your dreams more often now? Food for though, my friend, just be sure not to get sun burned of course. Thanks buddy!
