De-Mon - Mon is from the word Moon which means emotion. De is negative. Roughly translates to negative emotion.

They feed off your negative emotions and spirits are drawn to it.

There are possessed people also, they feel good from doing negative things.

Father Malachi Martin has a few episodes on Coast2Coast with Art Bell and wrote a few interesting books on the subject. He calls them the 'perfectly possessed'.

They can't enter your mind unless you let them in

They prey on your fears and manipulate you to make you do horrible things, like saying that they love you and you must kill the infidels to prove that you love them back, and if you don't you'll be alone forever and no-one will ever love you again

They will live in your mind until you banish them yourself: only you can do that, not an exorcist, not Jesus, not God, not anyone else (Jesus can make them scatter for a while but they'll always come back)

You have to make them want to leave of their own free will, one way of doing this is making them more afraid of you than you are of them

They are not afraid of you on your own and never will be - you're no match for demons - but they are afraid of who you represent and belong to when you declare Jesus Christ to be Lord and Saviour. They are afraid, absolutely terrified, of our Father in Heaven, and we should share a sense of that fear in reverence and awe; "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding." This is the only useful advice in this thread.. Christ originally gave his disciples permission to exorcise demons from people.

I'm not 100% familiar but Catholic exorcists as have this power.

Calling on Christ helps, but the more god favors you, the more the devil favors you..

Demons are pathetic and malignantly robotic in natur. think of it like fleas, sucking your cock of fear so they can grow big and healthy. They adapt to any scenario in order to extract your misery. Their main weapon is illusion and fear, leaving humans to do the rest once they infect someone. Free will is the law of the universe, they are parasites that need your imagination and spirit to give them power and fear them.

Demons are not the same as fallen angels.

Demons are the disembodied souls of the nephilin, which are offspring of a fallen angel and human woman. The Canaanites, Og of Bashan, Goliath...these are biblical examples of nephilim. Some believe those that call themselves Jews are descendants of Nephilim, which is why they seem to hate humans so much and do things that appear to be against human interests.

The extra-Biblical books of Enoch and Jasher give more info. The Nephilim are considered corrupt flesh so there is no abode for their souls after death but before the judgment, so their souls are cursed to wander the earth without physical form. This is what we call demons of djinn. They can possess flesh and some times inanimate objects. There isn't a lot of detail on them so there is much speculation. Some believe they are drawn or bound to lay lines, or scenes of evil or cursed items or what have you. One particularly interesting commonly report feature is that you can command them to flee or be silent by using the name of Jesus.

There's a reason those books are extra-biblical, it's because nephilim don't exist

Also jews are human beings, like you and me, they may be xenophobic assholes sometimes and some are definitely monstrous but that's the same with any human race

Jesus was a jew, too, regardless of what his thoughts might be about what the religion eventually became after he was crucified he wouldn't just stroll into a holy place and aim a fire extinguisher at a menorah like that
