I used to flip through them and always thought it was weird that women I saw in real life were varying sizes of curvy vs the “women” celebrities I saw in the the magazines who were all rectangle shaped. I always thought it was because they’re skinny/healthy but now I see what the truth is.

It’s creepy but also a bit sad. Most of these people were probably born into this or manufactured. They may not have had a choice. It definitely changes how you see entertainment. Now movies and shows just give me an uncanny valley feeling I would rather avoid.
