I was browsing /b/ about 6-7 years ago and at the bottom of this random thread about old TV shows someone posted very detailed 3 or 4 post long instructions on how to hide a body including ways to preserve/ disfigured to buy time/ chemicals/ eviscerate/disembowel and amputate.

It was strange. They never referred to it as "A body" just "The body". I was an edgy teen at the time so I saved it on an old laptop. After a bit the posts were gone. I refreshed to see if anyone saw it but it was a dying thread.

It wasn't like well put instructions just like "Get these chemicals, you'll need to break the joints to save time sawing through, use a hammer"

Things like that. I definitely feel like two guys just used a random thread that would fall into the void to pass off information.

I remember one picture of the guys head on a desk. It was wearing aviators and sat next to a can of beer.

Eventually people realised it was real and things got a lot more serious. The threads got nuked pretty hard.

Weirdest thing for me is that nobody else seems to remember or acknowledge this. It never comes up in threads like this, it never shows up on youtube discussions or anything like that. It's just this weird event that only I seem to remember.

It was such a fucking surreal experience. The worse part is unlike a novel or movie where something crazy like this gets exposed in the end there was never some great revelation to wrap it all up. All the trails just went cold. The Gate program went back to pretty much being advanced placement classes like they were before the special program. No government investigation. No media attention.

I dunno if terrifying is the right word, but there was a massive thread of info on the Columbine rabbit hole, way more than the usual threads that pop up, that brought me back to the feelings of dread I had when I first read about Columbine conspiracies back in 2003 or so. I've been on 4chan for more than 6 years now and I've honestly never seen anything that genuinely made me terrified. There's been some crazy shit, but nothing that has haunted me for days. The worst thing I've seen is CP on a couple boards that I found back when /qa/ was still a thing. There used to be like 4chan happening threads on that board where people would link to interesting stuff on other boards.

pizza gate threads, and what really fucked me up was randomly seeing in the local news "conspiracy theorists and pizza" or some shit after going through many of the posts, seeing images, symbols and missing anons. i just quit that shit altogether, really disturbing.
