Or maybe the ancients saw a light body realm with their meditations and spiritual actions, and mistakenly concluded that it was a separate reality set apart from the physical world.
And maybe modern occultists misunderstand electromagnetic reality to such an extent that they think its existence as a field which consciousness can tap into to create experiences and perceptions means that the physical world full of electrons and protons, without which electromagnetic waves would not exist, is somehow a separate and inferior version of existence.
I see this ideology as basically a failed understanding of alchemy, and failure to reify the physical and mental self through communion and conscious love of the feminine force of nature.
They ignore the Sophia, and their own fallen disheartened soul which fell from grace and into darkness. They ignore raising the kundalini through unconditional love, and rather force its action through dark rituals and abuse of self and others.
They ignore their own memory of the events which led to todays world, and rather than seek them out, they seek to blame some other external cosmic force as the cause.

TLDR. Humans warred and destroyed their planet about 3 times already, and then the souls were put on earth and they continued warring and destroying each other until their awareness and souls could no longer grasp eternity, and so fell into a dark forgetful sleep, and now don't remember how to wake it up up.
So desperate to be a victim, for their to be a fake machine God, to ignore that unconditional love was and is still the only pathway to eternal life. Ignoring their history of killing and sacrifice, the hatred that led to their wars, the genetic manipulation and biological, nuclear weapons they used before, and still continue to develop to this day.
The soul can only take so much.

I'm not any of the previous Anons, but I'd like to offer my perspective if that's fine. Whether this is or isn't the truth, I feel that our individual purposes in life are the refinement of our soul. It requires the realization and acceptance of the aspects of ourselves that we feel don't hold true to the person that deep down we feel we should be. I'm in the middle of that right now. I don't know what exactly you're going through, but don't let the limitations of this man-made society hold you back from what your heart truly desires. I think most people have this idea in the back of their minds of their ideal selves and let their emotions keep it from fruition. Why do you think when people tell their DMT or hallucination experiences they talk about how everything just glitched or seeing code or something, our reality is a digital projection. Entire plot is a explaination of jewish ideology, which autor sees as a threat(and he is right). His main message is "know your enemy", but not many people were aware about this stuff back then, so people just masturbated on Rei and Asuka in bodysuits instead and treated End of Evangelion as some kind of retarded filler.
