Scary lucid dreams experiences thread
When I was on ssris as a teenager I would have incredibly vivid dreams and occasional sleep paralysis. one night I had a dream where I was fully aware it was a dream but I was not in control anything but myself. I was essentially stuck in a loop where if any one in the dream became aware that I knew it was a dream I would be taken and restrained by an invisible force and would then wake up unsure if I was genuinely awake or not. This repeated atleast 6-7 times in the dream.

In the context of the dream this was terrifying and being taken by the invisible force felt awful in a way I could not describe

Is lucid dreaming just waking visions? I didn't have those before a supernatural experience. If actually dreaming I think I always wake up if I realize I'm dreaming.

Protip, force your eyes wide open if you suspect you're dreaming and they'll open IRL.
