In that case I'd say maybe Earth is just a really popular tourist attraction or just point of study for some types? I don't know all that's going on, but despite all the trials and tribulations Earth is going through, there is a lot of interesting stuff happening here so maybe some are just observers.

That is not economically viable. Sure, they could do that, but ice exists on comets and other rocks. Same with oxygen and hydrogen, pretty abundant everywhere. It would be cheaper and easier getting it somewhere else than travelling all the way here.

If anything, life seems to be the scarce resource. So if ayyys need something, it would either be cattle, plant matter or something like that. But if they can travel the stars they pretty much can cover those needs with technology.

Either that, or they want some human culture which is unique to this world. If that is the case, they're pretty much like a weaboo or a wehraboo. Humanboo would be the term?

3i/ATLAS is only 11km wide. If it were a water balloon, it would still be a mere drop in the oceans.
However, if it is an iron-nickle rock like the earth's core and impacts the earth at 200,000km/hr it would pretty much end all life on the planet. It would have to make some maneuvers to do so but it will have the perfect opportunity to do so covertly once it goes behind the sun.

The most likely thing for an alien space faring species to want from us is our destruction before we become a viable threat to their existence. Easiest way to do that would be to grab a random space rock and push it into the earth. we would never even know there were any aliens, let alone have a chance to fight back.

Wouldn't make sense from a resource perspective. Water exists elsewhere and there's more of it over there. If it's an alien civilization it's not coming to take our water. The only resource on this planet that you can't find anywhere else is us. Whether we're about to be allowed to join the galactic community or get ground up and turned into an alien aphrodesiac remains to be seen.
