Internet used to be a wild west, so that was definitely an age of adventure
But now it's simply too hostile, dangerous, conformist, people ignore what's takes effort to understand and focus on repeating the same things over and over, there's no depth or nuance
I miss the age of adventure, even convincing people into going in a mini-adventure like some new idea to explore is so hard

The internet will be a wild west again. Funny, I originally typed that as part of my comment. Once in a while we may pop up for fun, or perhaps even trying to usher in new zeitgeists.

Adventures flourish with unknowns, wait until AI explodes and once again we all are masked and anonymous. Fake identities, fake content, a world of fakes and illusion is exactly where magic thrives the most and no one will track you or find you or anything. It will be impossible to regulate like people thing the current trajectory is, and content and info will all be made as you wish and explored. Not to mention the tool itself and interfacing with magic.

For now, purification and slow accumulation to maintain yourself is in order as the masses get washed away. Right now the world is unironically under great spiritual attack, and it will keep escalating for a while. Once the storms passes we will rule the night. Only real adventure and fun you can have right now is ushering things in faster.

Nowhere, everything is bad and will only get worse.
When miracles do not happen, false prophets and simple liars can be seen every day, when they want to exploit you and squeeze dry all your time, energy, emotions and, in the end, life for the sake of entertainment and wealth of some bastard....
This situation, due to the scaling of human resources, is beyond the ability of ordinary people to influence it, because most people are already corrupted and will be little different from their oppressors, they simply do not have the opportunity.
This is to scandalize people so much that to earn money on basic needs, without which no positive development is possible and in general life is not very pleasant.
And miracles ... well ... what scale are they needed and from whom, in order to fix all this? Here, all that remains is hope for an afterlife and all sorts of isekai, along with the desire for everyone left to burn in hellfire for all the "good" they have done, and at least this will stop the multiplication of evil in the future. Of course, some aborigine may not know our concerns and the situation in the world, but his ignorance does not make the world more good or better.

Pretty much, I eager for some semi-reset where we get back to nature a little, where I can be a wandering magician helping people, It's possible to do that now but in a modern setting is not quite the same thing, I help some people here and there though with healing,herbs and incantations, brasil even with its problems still one of the places where folk magick is very much alive.
