Yes. Since humans are animals, if you call an animal “roadkill” then by extension so are human deaths.
But I can see them. There are so many. I can’t tell if roads or hospitals are worse. Probably roads, at least hospitals are actively trying to cycle things through and do good. Well except for the corporate America ones…guh.
Some deaths are due to disease or confusion or some specific circumstances, but mostly the road deaths are just pointless. Utterly and senselessly pointless. So you have some of the worst yurei and onryo. Many eventually pass on. I help where I can, it obviously being unsafe…but it’s just bad.
