The Dion Fortune is not a great start since it relies heavily on Lurianic Kabbalah and tries to syncretize it with Christianity.
In other words, it's a book on Christian Kabbalah.
Don't know about the other book, but the author, from what I can see was into the Golden Dawn, so maybe he was influenced by that kind of philosophy when he was writing about Kabbalah.
