yes, we breath both under water and outside the water. inside the water, we have some kind of soft scales that aspire the oxygen of the water

i look like a femenine human being. we dont really have a fish part. we are very much human-like. we sang odes of saddness and melancholy when the moon its on
what is your society like?
animalistic. you could spot us swimming with dolphins. we comune though beautiful sounding (both with other mermaids and others sea animals). i cannot express how much we feel the sea. we have this very emotional side inside us. when there are sea-storms, mermaids are mad, but when the sea is calm, the mermaids are calm
