There is a demon tree in my yard that’s always staring at me.
Pic doesn’t even do it justice. It looms with tangible malevolence, its wickedly scewed branches like a demon’s horny head. It is always distinctly “facing” me. I can feel its gaze.
The longer I look at it, the more positive I become of its malevolence, and I become overwhelmed by the fight or flight instinct. It always seems like if it wanted, it is near enough and large enough that it could cover the distance between us before I could escape.

It hasn’t made a move yet. It’s just a nuissance as of now. I like to step outside at night with coffee and look at the stars and this monstrous demon tree just stares me down the whole time. Sometimes I think if I don’t keep an eye on it, I’ll turn around and it will suddenly be upon me.

My first reaction however was that it looked like the goat head of the Androgyne Of Mendes, with the small part at the top being the flame, the two pieces either side being the goat's ears.
