in a way it is, but also isnt. christianity is garbage yes, and certainly there are lots of negative forces out there including satan but ive encountered many of them. my theory is that the more people believe in an entity the more powerful they become. back when i was a medium i saw so many dieties from every pantheon good and bad both. first one was vishnu who fell out the sky screaming vishnu. also ive seen krishna, venus, freya, all the archangels (mfw i found some angel tarot cards and they all looked like i saw them) thor attacked me he thought i was a frost giant. i took on yaldaboath and he kicked my ass.. and many more. and satan. storytime for laughs. two demons came at me then vanished.. but once i layed down to sleep i was suddenly in hell being tortured and could feel it all like it was real. ever wondered what being balanced on three poles armpits and taint feels like? not fun. luckily michael saved me as always. i do some crazy magic and atract dark ones, but he stomps them and enjoys it. cheating.

In the Bible God actually destroys hell in a fire at the end of the book and creates a new world that doesnt have suffering.

He also tosses Satan, his angels and the beast into the fire where they are tortured for presumably 1000 years.

The book doesn't say anything about Satan torturing people in hell, it alludes to it being punished by God for leading people astray and the parable of the vineyard also alludes to Satan being a servant of God who stole the world and went astray and God claimed he's going to remove him from the world and banish him to a fire as a punishment. It doesnt say anything about him ruling there or being a ruler or anything rather it seems more to say the fire is literally for satan to burn him and make him suffer.

In a sense however symbolically you might not look at the fire like a physical fire or one that causes physical pain, as Satan symbolically can represent God's spirit of enemy, it is literally God's adversarial nature/spirit of being against or not for, the spirit of being an enemy against something.

You could look at the end as God causes the 2nd death where he stops being against others for 1000 years and the spirit of enemy suffers because people are no longer against or hostile but instead are advocates or for each other.
