Christians bring this up sometimes claiming that Muslims worship Satan. Do you think this has any backing?

Nah , the thing about westerners is that get way tooo latched onto specific words and technical understandings. They try to gotcha muslims by saying stuff like "oh allah existed pre muhammad - it was a moon god etc etc"

But they miss the point, while the word carries weight and meaning according to their own lore - lets be real for a second , its ultimately just a descriptor that could be interchangeable. What Allah is always intended to be is the one true god - pure monotheism is the goal of Islam.

In Gnosticism it would be like Sophia, in Neoplatonism it would be like Nous, in christianity would be like the father. Whatever that underlying face of god is , thats what Allah aims to describe.

I think Allah is the God of the Bible and Jesus is distinct from the God of Judaism and Islam. If you want to know why Islam came about, look into the historical context of its origin. Two collapsing empires, a migration wave from Arabia, and the persecution and forced conversion of the Jews all throughout the Byzantine Empire. It was a perfect storm.

It’s all the same guy. God wouldn’t invent a “bad guy” (one of his sons) that he’s presumably more powerful than, but seemingly incapable of eradicating/controlling.

It’s all just mental gymnastics so people don’t have to think about the fact that god routinely does evil things, like flood the earth/killing everyone. Gods has the highest number of kills in the Bible, by his own admission.

I think that Allah is probably a demon of some kind, but not Satan specifically. Maybe Baal. One of the fiery war-like ones.

No the polytheists worship satan I think Christians and Muslims can both agree that they will be sent to hell/worship satan because they worship multiple gods and believe can take on forms of animal and human combined just like Satan. The Quran does have scary stuff in it like verses of the end of the world when seas are set on fire and wild animals and beasts all gather together because they know the world is ending as well as saying one day the world will be violently shaken almost a tremendous feeling hard to describe. I don’t think the Bible or the Quran is the devils work but other religions I think some of them are pure evil ignorant nonsense.

Allah is just the arabic name for God, if you are a christian or jew then you also worship Allah.


anyways Allah/God/the LORD/YWHW is a pagan deity like any other and even loses against another pagan deity, Chemos, which indicates he isn't actually all-powerful and just says that because he is clearly a malignant narcissist.
