Question for Christians and Muslims: Why do you cause so much suffering on Earth?

The Old Testament is full of invocations to multiplication:

>And "Children are a heritage from the Lord... the fruit of the womb is a reward." (Psalm 127:3)
But the New Testament partially reverses the narrative by focusing on the spiritual requirement:
>"Enter by the narrow gate... many pass by the broad way that leads to destruction." (Matthew 7:13-14)
Islam says:
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) strongly encouraged fertility:
>"Marry a loving and fruitful wife, for I will boast of your great multitude before the nations." » » (Abu Dawood)
But on the other hand, his revelations about the afterlife are frightening: "Out of a thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine will go to Hell." (Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim)
