Why do humans even exist?
Pic unrelated. What are we being tested for? What's the point? To Christians for example, life is a binary decision between God and hell. So why the suffering in between? Is there really anything in the world around us that's worthwhile? It's easier to believe there is when you're blessed with material abundance, but everyone else is left to live their lives trying to squeeze blood from a stone.

The mortal experience seems entirely superfluous. Why should there be anyone anywhere doing anything? Why make some people ugly, or stupid, or poor? Why bother? It seems inefficient. I can't think of any reason anyone should want to live. Anyone who isn't having an almost exclusively positive experience, that is. Obviously there is some evolutionary component that predisposes us towards trying to survive, whether or not our existences are especially pleasant, but logically I can't think of any reason why. For the possibility of relief? What if it never comes? Then all the suffering is wasted. For most people, it never seems to. We live short, undignified lives of quiet desperation then gracelessly expire, either from a medical issue or some gruesome circumstance that leaves us dead and bloodied on the ground. Being a human is an awful deal. What's the point?

All is one. Humans, animals, nature, spirits, every breath of air: everything is connected in an invisible web. The separation your eyes show you is only a lie of the mind. When your third eye opens and your ego dissolves, you will see the truth: everything you perceive is you. You are God. You have projected yourself into matter to play a vast cosmic game where you confront, explore, and accept yourself. This game is multidimensional, woven from layers of reality. As long as you remain trapped in the first layer, you believe in limits. But when you pass through the veils, you realize that you have never been separate from anything… and that the entire Universe is watching you through your own eyes.

Consider the alternative to Being.

Non-Being.

You have seen little of the infinite, and only a small part of life on Earth... most worlds are not like this. Use your imagination.

My current opinion is that the enlightenment is understanding the value of death. I hope that it's freedom from all of this. I just don't understand why the life in between is necessary.

I don't think it's so simple. Assuming you're spiritual, and I assume you are, why am I this being and not something intellectually or metaphysically superior? I could be angel. Or whatever else you may believe in. If I must be human, I could be an Adonis or a mathematical genius, preferably both. It's not as if those people don't exist. Why shouldn't everyone be? Why should the majority of humanity exist in it's objectively inferior state, surviving on the condescension of their superiors? I understand, to a certain extent, the elite desire to exterminate the majority of the population. Most of us really are redundant, we totally exist just for the sake of it. Take India for example, what value is added to the world by India continuing to exist? I cannot think of a single worthwhile contribution to humanity that Indians have created, and they make up nearly twenty percent of the world's population. What exactly would we be losing by just deleting them all from existence? What is the point of their lives?

We are little emanations of the creative force that gave birth to reality, like sparks shooting from a bonfire.

... truly you have just written one of the most offensively racist and stupid things I have ever read on 4chan. I regret replying to you in the first place.

It's 4:30AM in Vancouver; am I really obligated to solve your existential crisis and undo your sociopathic, nihilistic, and completely ignorant worldview in a 4chan post, when I could just fall asleep and leave you to your well-deserved misery?

Fuck you

I agree with you, but well, you shouldn't blame him, he's ignorant, he's out of touch. If we look at it from a materialistic perspective, what he says is more or less real, even though it's unpleasant. Except that in reality, the real, reality, is only real on that level. If you take it from a higher perspective, it doesn't correspond to anything. In fact, it's the overall life of a cosmic picture.

In fact, what you don't understand is that you are incarnated at the same time on several different planes. You are not simply a human being. But your consciousness at the moment is in your brain. Except that when you sleep, you use other bodies of yours, like the astral body. But again, it's not just you. And race only corresponds from a biological point of view, and when looking at higher planes, the human race corresponds to nothing, so racism is useless. Racism only works if you look at the lowest planes. Yes, that would be a reality. But what is it worth? Precisely, the objective is to elevate oneself, it is not to remain in low frequencies.

And then, to be honest, okay, there have been a lot of inventions made by white people. But again, did a white person build certain things only for white people? No. It's for all of humanity, the same thing. Indians, or even Black people, Arabs, Jews invented certain things on Earth. It's not exclusive to one ethnic or racial group. It's for all of humanity. We have to stop living vicariously. It's not because the white race, let's say, lived in a biome conducive to development. There wasn't the scorching heat that you find in Africa or India. So, obviously, it was easier for them to expand. But that doesn't justify racism. And yes, there may have been a lot of white people who invented quite a few things. Concretely, on a day-to-day basis, what have you done for humanity? Nothing, I think. And if, in quotation marks, you consider yourself cleaner than the Indians, that's easy. But then we'll say, in your next incarnation, I make you an Indian, I put you in a dirty environment, you won't really be responsible for the consequences for your people. You'll have to put up with it, but it won't really be your fault. And we'll give you the same financial means as an Indian. You won't be able to be clean, take showers every day, that kind of thing. So no, no more hatred towards the Indians.

Europe is leagues less fecund and resource rich than Africa or India, which is why they were colonized. European soil is muddy nearly useless nutrient scarce shit and famines were relatively common, especially in northern Europe. Meanwhile, Africans have basically year round summer and some of the most valuable resources in the world and just kind of milled about for roughly 400,000 years

Why assume we're being tested to begin with? And even if we were, rest assured it's not God trying to figure something out.

As far as I can discern, it's a legal filtering process. People who respond positively to God's call get an excellent reward that others don't.

That can be done easily with a simple yes or no at the beginning of existence. What's the point of life? Again, seems inefficient.

Yes, you're right. I don't know. I would just prefer to get this all over with. There doesn't seem to be much to do here, really, so what's the point of it? Would our answers change with the limited amount of information that we can gleam from our life on Earth? It's still a yes or no question, just extended over the course of eighty or so years. Increasingly, I see it as a punishment to be endured that we just happened to inherit from Adam. Not a trial, not an experience we're supposed to enjoy, not even random. Something that is meant to hurt us specifically, and then that we are released from in death.

There's a lot to do, but without the Holy Spirit we can't have the right mindset for it. People, saved or not, just want to get pleasure out of this life and that's not necessarily all we're here for. Once a christian gets his glorified, immortal body, that's where the real fun begins.

“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” (1 Corinthians 13:12)

Well we're inclined towards things that are gratifying. Good things that feel nice. God is the ultimate good thing that all good things emanate from, so is there any point in anything besides him? Why should we exist at all?

I've been saved for over a decade already and I have (to my very great shame) resisted God enough not to have made my entire life about Him. It's a very hard thing to do for an extremely wicked pile of filth like myself, but many people have gotten there and will be greatly rewarded for it.

“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21)

All in all, despite my rather lackluster commitment, I do know for a fact (and so have I experienced) there's no real fulfillment outside of serving the Lord Jesus in love.
