So I've been looking into the possibility that the world population numbers are overblown and that the real population is around 2-3 billion. If that's the case, then the elite could depopulate the world by 70% without culling a single person. Picture this, some kind of crazy events happen around the world, people are displaced and herded into specific urban zones within their country(aside from renegades staying in the countryside), and internet access is cut. In such a scenario, the elites could simply tell the people the truth(that the population is only 2-3 billion), and the average person would assume that billions of people had died. It would be the ultimate act of wizardry and mental manipulation. Discuss.

You can’t give examples easily prove the number of people based on the resources each person uses.
Alternatively human farts release specific and identifiable chemicals.
If we can track cow farts we can track human farts.

Human consumption leads to obvious results. For India look at the amount of fecal sludge in the ocean.
For the west look at the amount of co2 produced by the average human (or calculate yourself) and look at heat maps of your target chemical your tracking.
We were able to track the number of dead bodies in China based on the release of elements in the burn pits during Covid.

As for the theory, it’s kinda 50/50, on one hand you have that the world’s population could actually be HIGHER due to the fact that there are many people who’s birth is not registered in regions like Africa, China, India Etc.

On the other-hand you have to wonder why they would lie about the population being higher than it actually is, my guess would be to exert greater control over mankind, the perspective shift towards resources and land being far less than it actually is could work to fearmonger the populace into a controllable state.

I don’t see this at all, capitalism requires an ever increasing supply of workers to maintain itself, without increasing birth rates profits will drop and bailouts are required, immigration from third world countries will be necessary and will also provide a scapegoat for the ever diminishing standard of living… my question is why would so called elites want this, it only makes them feel less safe and hurts their profits… what we need is western re-industrialisation if our lives are going to ever improve.. or a fair economic system which obviously is never going to happen (lol)
