Is magic autism?
Magic is an autistic game of punking. There’s always going to be a magician capable of one upping another magician, and so on and so on. “That’s not magic, THIS is Magick!”, and it’s the same with haughty religion, “it’s not magic, it’s a miracle!”, or science, “it’s not magic, it’s nature!”, or just perception, “well if you don’t see nature as magical then you don’t truly love or appreciate science do you?”, etc. It’s all relative. The capital-w Wizard might not even see themselves as such. It’s just an aura they exude or an air they give off. They’re too alien or transcendental. What occult obsessed nut jobs consider to be magic might not even be seen as such by higher beings that do it casually.
More and more do I see that magic is just “magic”, even if a different word is being used. A description not a definition.
