Its really not, and this is how people wind up having freak outs that result in ambulance calls because they think its an ego driven dick measuring contest. You need to read some McKenna and Stanislav Grof on this topic. McKenna was a Pioneer and he defined a "heroic dose" as 5g. Now weaker dried strains that may not be as fresh... sure you can prob get away with 10g, but you need to be aware of what it is you've purchased and personally you're so much better off growing your own from spores.
