when christian historians say in the first century there was only a few thousand christians, and by the third century there were 6 million, theyre attempting to deceive by providing the illusion that this was some grassroots thing and by its sheer theological merits people slowly came around and were convinced of its truth and all became christians of their own accord. the reality is there were a few thousand christians, to overnight a jewish sponsored king legally requiring everyone had to be a christian so now suddenly theres '6 million christians', when the reality is people really never gave a shit and merely tolerated it
