Does malevolence at the spiritual level just seem kinda dumb to anyone else?
Even from a place of amorality idk why these hyperintelligent demons would waste their time thinking up these goofy ass ways to kill and scare people. Just seems totally pointless and silly. Are demons just that bored in hell? Do they ever like play basketball or something fun? Are they rude because of some form of spiritual dementia God has blighted them with?

If they were in hell, they would not be able to come out and wreak havoc here.

My guess that they no longer have any capacity to experience the world physically with a body of their own (which appatently brings them much misery), so they go arround taking possession of people's bodies to get whatever they get out of it.

Also being enemies of God and obeying Lucifer himself will have them up against people, because that's what Lucifer does, destroy people who are made in the image of God.

I see it more as an addiction for them. An extreme one that has completely taken over their being. It’s the only way they can get their kick, from a specific type of energy they siphon from us that we give them in our own ignorance.
