Yeah I’ve encountered several schizos in East Asia. It’s very unnerving. I haven’t seen the demons and CIA stuff I hear about in the West, but they’re always paranoid about someone spying on them or trying to kidnap them, probably a neighboring country that they dislike, and they reject the idea of getting help. It’s freaky because you see the same patterns repeatedly but like what makes a human brain do that and how do you even come back from that shit when you’re too far gone to trust anyone?

I bet you are a nice person and I hope you don't let the weight of the world change you. I've had those type of coworkers. Just walk, say bye, and walk around the yapper because I know how persistent they are. You don't owe people like that a second of your life. Time really does pass us by. I'm hoping others here start realizing the futility of arguing with the schizos. I've moved on to other boards like /co/ but its the same thing. They might be beyond help. I go outside and do productive things instead. There's genuine people here and I appreciate their insights, knowledge and the sharing of their experiences.

I've experienced similar working in a halfway house (It was the only job in that small town that'd hire.)

He was living there and out of jail. And he was just absolutely unstable. People on /x/ have never encountered real schizophrenia and think it's something from the movies where you'll be sitting there alone at night and the camera zooms in really fast and you start hearing voices dramatically. The guy was on the edge of panic at all times and because of it caught the attention of everyone around him just asking if he was ok or if anything was wrong. And because of that he thought everyone was in league with each other to fuck with him. I told him this outright and he stopped for a second, looked around, looked at me, and ran off to his room and wouldn't come out until the next day.

His handwriting would change styles and become completely unreadable and that's how everyone that interacted with him knew he wasn't taking his meds. It was genuinely hard to see someone like that where you know he won't be cured, won't figure out what is and isn't real, and generally won't find any real amount of peace as long as he lives. Made me really consider all the joking about schizos for a minute.

k2 survivor here. I look at one in the mirror every day.
It's kind of funny seeing myself lose more cognition every day. I lost my sense of direction and balance, sometimes I kick doorways on the way in. Sometimes I catch myself replacing certain words with their opposites, I slur my words and speak oddly. I used to have a tremor but it's mostly subsided. I get random bouts of anger or happiness; scarily, happiness at the prospect of my own suffering/death.
I've heard voices since I was 14 (when I got spiked). I'm too tired and the list is too long to go over it all, but the one that broke me was the "you have to suffer to get into heaven, humanities suffering is our milk, you are our greatest cow, you are our golden calf" monologue when I tried asking them why I was schizo. Apparently I am an efficient producer of suffering or "loosh", so they (the greys, god, demons, angels, whatever they are) became deadset on making my life efficiently shitty. They really didn't have to do much to get me into heart attack mode 23 hours of the day.
I look at other people often and become jealous of their sanity and clear minds, and then I realize that I'll never be them. Ever. The hopelessness of the situation seems to calm me down a little, because there's nothing I can do except drink a little more each night until I overpower my cowardly instinct to stay alive. That probably won't happen though, because they told me themselves that they keep me alive to suffer. They can control people's minds, and they use this to set up torment.
I'll be walking around the corner at my job, and they'll give me a vision that I'll run into an asshole customer, and I do.
I think about what I could have been, and that makes them happy.

It started when I astral projected and killed some demons, but I doubt I even did that. They probably showed me that vision as the first justification. They did not expect me to fight back, or they did. I have no idea. I fought back sporadically since then, but the result is I'm now a husk with a karmic debt of about 1000 lifetimes of suffering and nothing to show for it; or so they tell me.
They like to switch between gloating torture and innocent confusion on a dime. They (as far as I'm aware) "let me" get the upperhand, throw up their hands and say "We're only trying to help you!", and as I'm contemplating what they're trying to do, they immediately go for the attack and try to possess me to steal my energy.
My life is war, but I'm not a warrior by any means. It's cruel to make someone a tyrant and a worm simultaneously.

There are two main types of schizos.

The first is a person who really did go through fucked up things and does their best to tell the truth about it and how they now view the world.

The second type are hylic schizos who are failures in life and want to be special. So they lie lie lie. They are probably demon possessed to and had their heart hardened. They probably believe some of the stuff they say but most of it is lies just trying to impress you. I hate these type of schizos bc they give the honest well meaning ones a tough time trying to tell their truths.

Hylics and others can’t tell the difference between the two types. They all sound crazy to them. It probably takes a real truthful schizo to tell them apart. It’s pretty obvious which type your coworker is.

Dealing with these types of demons can be a bit like dealing with trolls on the Internet. If you just ignore them and learn to not react to anything they do, they'll get bored eventually.

I recommend looking into metta meditation. Don't do any "advanced" meditations or kundalini type stuff, you're clearly not in the right headspace for it. Either Zen emptiness meditation or metta should work.

I have a belief that this is what happens to intelligent people who get stuck in mediocrity. They develop grandiose delusions about their self importance as they realize theyre a loser and it drives them off the deep end. So then their life becomes this neurotic manic episode of connecting dots to useless research thats used to prop up a delusion about their life being more important that it was. The incredibly low achievements vs the high expectations they had for their life as someone of above average intelligence is unacceptable and instead of implementing change they choose delusion.
