Everyone had every fundamental piece of structure, it's not just about the trinity, although the trinity is of the most deformed ones nowadays due to how extremely christianity has watered down the doctrine for the masses.
Let's take daoism as a pivot since it's one of the oldest and see the parallels. In daoism there is a positive/active flow of energy (yang qi) and a negative/passive flow of energy (yin qi), when combined they refine into awareness or "spirit" (shen) to varying degrees. For the daoist nuts around here, i'm putting jing aside or implementing it just to simplify the demonstration of parallels.
>christianity
yang qi = divine breath
yin qi = dirt (earth is one of the main carriers of yin qi)
shen = imago dei (refined through the "fruit")
>judaism
yang qi = ruach
yin qi = adamah
shen = neshamah
>hinduism
yang qi = purusha
yin qi = prakriti
shen = jiva ----> atman
>greek platonism/hermeticism
yang qi = logos/pneuma
yin qi = hyle
shen = nous
>egyptian myth
yang qi = atum/re
yin qi = nun
shen = ka/ba
>alchemy
yang qi = sulphur
yin qi = mercury
shen = salt
I can continue with norse mythology, yoruba, buddhism..etc. Every tradition has a schematic for how life is created or matter animated, and how consciousness or awareness arises. Some of these traditions even have recorded methodologies for cultivating these energies and giving them various uses, and these methodologies agree with one another.
This is just one aspect of the various shared across traditions in different parts of the world, but it's the most important aspect in my opinion, the one where every occult framework is based on.
