Is this the one where you're trying to learn a new skill, so you kinda channel a version of you in another reality who has already learned that skill? Or is like these other anons who say it's about being gay with dolphins?

The idea is that we exist in a multiverse and that our consciousness can shift between different "parallel realities" or universes, each representing a different version of ourselves.

The book suggests that by changing our core beliefs, focusing our attention, and aligning our emotions with our desired reality, we can effectively shift our consciousness into a parallel universe where that desired reality already exists.
Hence, so many readers turning gay after finishing the book.

OK..i've been reading it, and whilst some parts are boring and VERY overly-dragged-on, the techniques are good and simple, the theory is solid and concise, it will seem i can work with this.

My Parallel Universe of Self: I do admit I have "fetish fantasy", tho they don't involve s*x proper; it's a mix of death-match pro wrestling with femdom...I wish a strong athletic woman would throw and break wood boards on me, throw me into barbed wire, kick my head whilst we're both standing, etc, etc
OTOH I have deep ambitions of religion and spirituality; I wish I GET to see the best places of my catholic faith; Jerusalem, Rome, the Relics, visit Orders and Monasteries.
And, a couple more Self manifestation-wishes. haha!

The first time I had a psychocetacean bonding experience was in SeaWorld, a decade ago, watching Flippy sensually swimdance upright to meet only me eye to dolphin eye. This is how Flippy saw himself as, and how he wished me I remember him, and in that moment of soulbonding, there wasn't half a feet of plexiglass separating us,

So I picked up The Parallel Self expecting some woo-woo metaphysics and got my entire perception of reality turned inside out. Then I found some dude off Grindr to turn my guts inside out. 10/10 experience
Anonymous No.40936855
A lot of Neville Goddard-esque manifestation energy here but with a more sci-fi twist. It’s a bit out there but really self empowering.

Halfway through I’m like “What if there’s a version of me living his best life?” So I switched timelines. Turns out parallel me had a taste in men.

So yea, this book turned me gay too. 5 stars, would quantum leap again.
