I'm not familiar with that concept, but in all secret societies, the presence of others is intended to amplify the ritual by adding their own energy to it. As for individual agendas, this doesn't seem like an issue for me, especially since everyone participating would be required to actually have a degree of attainment themselves. The same power that one develops in themselves in order to successfully perform ceremonial, can be amplified and added to by others all performing in unison.

I can open and close the gates to heaven whenever. I'm currently practicing how to open and close them over and over until I can do it without thinking. I need to direct the energy down instead of up to be able to utilize its power.
