Is being a vampire more enjoyable than being a human in this world? I wonder what its like. Maybe it sucks.

No but seriously life is actually super epic and based.
Your experience of life all comes from the mind, master the mind and life is exactly what you tell it it is.

They probably don't actually exist. Maybe we could make them, tho.

No, this isn't true. This is mind trickery and the way of the weak.

Must be lonely and boring
Just watching everything you know and love die
And the world becoming distant and strange

After all it's supposed to be a curse, not a blessing

Depends on your values only. If you're okay with becoming a mere witness of cyclic human decadences, like it's all an amusement park, if you're okay with people come and go, if you're okay with being one on one with your own thoughts and searches of meaning of your existence and won't ever try to kill yourself (quite the task to find a purpose that would last), you'd do good.

>>40927739
God is lonely too.
Chasing Vampires No.40929225 >>40930035
>>40927739
There's no reason as why an existence that coexists in the same space has to be lonely. A century is long, undead or not. You can cultivate friendship and watch them grow and change and be to their side until the last moment.
I think being a vampire would be nice. If such things existed. Time to develop my every thought to the last consequence, time to read everything I might want to read, to grow any skill I want to grow.
None of this human shit of chasing money to be allowed to exist another week.

You don't need to keep strange oaths to maintain the flame of survival.

Dem quads, but according to this supposedly real vamp I talk to, not true. They eat tons of fruit and sweets and stuff. Also, rare stake kinda helps with the blood need according to him. For born vamps at least. He says turned vamps might have it like this, but he is not even sure if turning is really a thing.

That's what I'm talking about. If you're the type to simply 'survive' with no greater design or purpose, then you'll be fine.

No idea. Let's cure them with SCIENCE! I bet we can learn some super helpful things for humans from vampire biology too. Like how to survive hypoxic environments.

The world is made for them, but possibly feels empty, when all you do your whole existance is to feed on people.

After all, how to have real connections, when you feed on those all your life?

Maybe other vampires are the choice, but even then, would you prefer to be a monster and live with monsters, in a cold, empty, cruel space?

'Human blood only' and 'vampires explode like a firecracker or crumble to dust in sunlight' are movie tropes. You'd be surprised at all the variances you found in folklore.

The nature made it so, even when others suffer one is happy. After all back in time, where they strived to survive, when they killed, and animals suffered, the hunter and his family, was happy and brimming with joy, when they could have feasted, to live another day, and make generations to come stronger.

Their turn is now, later my turn will come.

They suffered, I suffer. They killed, I killed

Now you, then me.

I too one day when will be dead, after all the suffering and torture the world has given me, will be consumed by other organisms, that will create stronger generations to come.

Now them, later me.

That's a nice cycle of suffering and being a slave. How about breaking out of it?

That's a nice idea, which is mostly rooted in fantasy, and images of it. Have you tried transferring it to reality, or at the very least translating it?

Or maybe you are the type to think really hard and "manifest it"?

The idea is great and all, but well that cycle is just a struggle in realitywithout which humans would be not present. So how about you do what you want and try breaking free of it or whatever it is that you want to do, and I'm gonna keep trying to make the good things, so the energy I have consumed does not go to waste?

After all, you want it or not, you have got this body, this mind, this energy that keeps you up in the day and in the night, from something before you. Be it plants, be it animals, you have to have fuel to keep functioning, yet you call this suffering?

Oh yeah maybe go change yourself to run on electricity then?

If with all of these things, beautiful and ugly all you could have created is suffering, then I recommend a change of approach.
