Alas, pathology doesn't explain things beyond a certain point.

It doesn't explain visions of prophetic events that come true, symbolically loaded phrases in languages you don't speak, 'knowing' without first seeing.

At the end of the day, it seems genuine spiritual contact does look like schizotypal traits, yet beyond pathological explanations.
