I wish to discuss the Tarot with someone experienced. I use it as a psychological tool under the guidance of the work conducted by Alejandro Jodorowsky: I specifically use the book The Way of the Tarot. While the book addresses my concern, I still want to talk with you. The following is in the lens of the aforementioned and self-reading.

How do you ground yourself and keep the Ego in check when doing your work? Not only to not fall into the absurd nature of fortune telling, but to also mitigate confirmation bias during a reading. When I do these readings, I communicate with my physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects and how such and so interact with an infinite Universe and the collective unconsciousness of our species. All that so I can reflect and conduct myself in a manner that is copasetic with being harmonious with nature.

While I do believe there is a divine aspect of the Tarot, I actively fight against "drinking the Kool-Aid" and trying to tell the future and influencing reality a la Cartomancy. I find a lot of what I read in these threads to be silly and hylic. To quote Jodorowsky
