Lucifer is Prometheus the Creator of Mankind. Prometheus gave us 'Techne' this gift of knowledge which was considered a bad thing in the Bible (Fruit of knowledge). Yet without this gift humanity would not achieve Greatness - No Art, no Architectural wonders and no power.

And yet we are at crossroads of History. We can either be ruled by the God-like elites that will keep Technological Singularity level technology for themselves and enslave us in a new Bronze age. Or we can ascend as a species from Man to Ubermensch and kill the Gods and/or aliens that want to keep us from becoming as powerfull as them.

Satan doesn't punish people he just tortures them out of sadism. He sees God's face when he looks at you and thinks you're an inferior being so helpful wants to smash it in. Technically Hell is just a place. It isn't really a punishment, it's just where God isn't which is why it hurts so badly. That's punishment enough. Take into account that the demons are in hell too, and there is no other force torturing them. Demons torture each other. Satan's camp is just a bunch of psychos. The demons do not have to torture you, they just choose to because they like to and you can't do anything about it. They do it to each other as well, stronger demons beat the shit out of smaller ones and force them to do their bidding. Nothing matters there but power. Hypothetically, you could die and go to hell and somehow be extremely strong. Then you could beat the shit out of demons as well. They aren't your prison guards, they're your cell mates. But no human is like that, so it isn't possible.

Satan does not view himself as being justified in anything he does. He hates justice. Justice and punishment, these things are God's prerogative. Satan does not believe in the former, and only uses the latter against his inferiors in the diabolical hierarchy when they fail to complete whatever task he'd set for them. Satan views humans as being sentient mud. That's putting it lightly. You are a grotesque abomination in his eyes, and he would just as readily torture you, a child, an infant, and a nun to the same degree of severity. That is, as badly as he possibly can. He literally couldn't give less of a shit how good or bad you are, the fact that you exist is enough to draw his ire. He hates humanity more than words can adequately describe. That speech that AM does in I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream comes close. He views us as utterly putrid and less than useless. We are an insult to everything he is, we are living inversions of him. Satan was perfect, beautiful, a genius, immortal. We shit and piss and die, but God loves us more anyways. Now Satan is nothing.

I thought it was God's enemy in the Bible. Basically the spirit of being against something/someone. It can be used as a title to be a Satan (stand against) and in a sense it is God's scape goat offering while christ is his lamb offering for his own transgressions. (Christ is advocate, Satan is enemy)

It is explained, you can not be for, by being against, you can only serve one master, for or against.

In a sense it is God doing these things, but as Satan and God's Satan is God in action giving his Satan permission, but Satan is not God, it is Satan.

It is like saying my tempurtantrum got the best of me, I was a different person. I gave my anger permission to do as it pleases.

By the end of the book God promises to defeat his Satan by Michael (his word, because he said he would he would)

He will seal it for 1000 years in a magic fire along with death and hell and create a new world free of suffering. You can assume this fire is probably something like love or something because it tortures Satan (being against) and it was explained to fight Satan you love your enemies, you turn the other cheek, (you live as the body of Christ, to be an advocate for, not against)

That's what I got out of the book, I usually don't get the posts about satan or satanism or the word satanic, seems like no one can ever explain these things in a way that makes sense to me. Maybe you're the exception, what do you think?
