Disappearing Objects Phenomenon (DOP)
Yeah this shit is a real thing, maybe it happens sometimes just because people are fucking blind but i had definitely something paranormal involved. My sunglasses disappeared for 1 month from my table where i always keep them at the same spot, checked the whole table multiple times, lifted all the items on the table checking under them etc, i sit 12 hours every day on this table and kept looking and wondering where the hell did the glasses go for a month, looked through the whole apartment and checked all the clothes pockets, checked my car, everywhere. Came back from store couple days ago and the fucking glasses are right there on the table at the spot where i have looked 100 times. I live alone no pets.

there is a non-paranormal explanation, anon

an FBI agent broke into your apartment and put them there

>definitely put it there
>check again
>no cap
>not in other pockets, not on table
>ohwell.jpg
>finish presentation
>cap is in my back pocket

This is the most likely answer. I know FBI agents get in underneath of my house I can hear them down there scrapping away at my floor boards. I tell them I can hear them and stomp my feet when I walk around and they must get scared because they always quiet down for a bit. I consider buying a pistol and shooting a round into the floor occasionally to really send the message that they're unwelcome but my life is typical of a gang stalked individual.

I'm about to tell you the most unbelievable DOP example in my life. So unbelievable it's almost not worth posting it because nobody will believe it:

I live in the deep country. I drove down the road and out of the corner of my eye saw a black book on the side of the road, very dirty. I thought "lol that kinda looked like a death note. it couldnt be though. but my life is so boring i have no reason not to go back and look on the 1 in 10,000 chance"

so i picked up the book and it WAS a Death Note, namely a replica because it said Barnes & Noble in the back cover, but still. it was completely blank except for the instructions like in the show, whoever bought it didnt even write anything in it, also why would they have thrown it out the window in the deep country? was it on purpose? i have no idea how it got there.

i took it home and wrote certain people's names in it like Jacob Rothschild, George Soros, all the people ruining the world. they were supposed to die within 5 minutes, but after 2 hours nothing happened so i was like "yep ok its fake, too bad." so i put it on my bedroom dresser and went to go make some food.

i went back to my room 20 minutes later and it was gone. i have never seen it again and that was 2 years ago now. this is all true i swear to god.

yea i think this is like a rendering error in a video game where occasionally certain objects will fail to load in. this makes me wonder if you can purposely trigger the object to load back in by leaving the "cell" that the object exists in like in the game, which means NOBODY (even people other than you) can be in the "cell" the object exists in, so then when you re-enter the cell every object should have to load back in and maybe it will work correctly this time. question is how big are "cells" in this simulation? 100 meters? 1 mile?
Anonymous No.40950477
>>40950473
another thing you need to know about video game "cells" for this to work is that a cell wont "unload" until nobody has been in the cell for a decent period of time, in a game this is usually like 15 minutes but irl it might be hours idk

I think this happened to my brother
>be my brother on pay day
>he goes off to buy himself a new marijuana cart it was one of the bigger disposable ones
>he takes a few hits from it think he said like just 2-3
>when he walks in his room drops it near his couch and basement access cover
>he thinks it must of slide under his couch
>not there
>checks in between the cracks of the cover to the basement nope
>checks under his desk which would of been a stretch for it to slide right there nope
>checks in the basement even though it would of been impossible for it to even fit through the cracks nope
Never found it even when my he moved out and left the room empty
Even when I thoroughly searched checked the really small basement if you can even call it that for another unrelated thing
Even when they tore out all of the old floor for tiles
It was like it just disappeared

The part we have to consider suspicious now is the five minutes narrative. I can believe the rest.

well Jacob Rothschild died like 4-6 months after i put his name in the book so i doubt thats related and everyone else like George Soros is still alive

I had a similar story where I even became famous around here because my mother lost her glasses and I was looking for a psychic that could help us find it, we looked literally everywhere and some anon even posted a picture of the place where she left them, proving remote viewing was real.
Alas, they weren't there and the difference between our stories is that they were never found.
But she got two extra pairs that were better, so all good.

What about the opposite? You find objects that you've never seen before and there's no explanation of how they got there? Maybe they're the lost objects of alternate dimensions or maybe objects from the neighboors swap places and they can't find them anywhere, because they slipped here?
And what about duplicate objects? Like, an object goes missing, you search for it everywhere and can't find it but once you do it's in a completely unrelated place.
But then one day you find the original one near the location where it was missing, so now you got two of them? But you only had one? From where did the other come from?
Recently that happened to a $100 dollar bill, so we got $100 from literally out of nowhere. Okay, so the serial was different, clearly not the same bill, but going from a lost bill to two bills is unexplainable.
Purposely triggering it would be incredible.

this is like back when praying to Kek was popular and i prayed to Kek and thought "this would probably be more effective if i had a kek statue", the next day a solid iron frog statue nearly identical to the meme image of the kek statue appeared on my porch. only difference is mine is like 100 years old (rusty) and doesnt have any words on it

Yesterday I lost a lighter. Nothing much for it. Look for it everywhere where it possibly could be. No worries. Bought another lighter. Next thing I know I have the lighter in my pocket and now I have two lighters.

I have DOP happen to one item in 3’s.
First time it’ll show up after about an hour.
Second time it’ll disappear for at most a week.
Finally it’ll disappear for over a year.
It always appears in the exact place it was supposed to.
Keys show up on the counter.
A fucking cooking pan will end up back in the cabinet.
The weirdest one was a wallet that disappeared for 7 years. Ended up with the money, cards and id all back in my counter top.
I have a clean house and keep my shit in the same spot always. I don’t have carbon monoxide or anything else like that.
Maybe someone would steal keys or a wallet, but no one would take a fucking pan.

I think there are 3 phenomena at work here:
1, Our short term memory can be extremely volatile and couple with the autopilot phenomenon we just do not have the memory of certain things that happened in the near past. Hence we lose track of object 1 that we put in location A. Later, we may find it again or we have another episode where we find it and relocate it to the usual location B.
2, We do have a weird thing going on where we become temporarily unable to register the presence of an object. This is something terrifying to me because this might be the brain's natural ability to augment images sent by our eyes malfunctioning or being triggered by something that should not be triggering it. Thus we miss the item we look for (and hence register its absence) and the 5th time we comb the same area or later on when we aren't even looking for it no more, we "find" the item.
And finally 3, the same thing that takes people inexplicably (that 0.001% of all disappearances) takes items too. Except with items it is much easier, they don't move, walk away or yell for help.

Not ruling it out, all I'm saying is that it is likely that not all of these cases are pyrely paranormal. But I think, a certain amount definitely is.
