I tell this in every greentext thread I can so I'll try and give the short versions. I have a couple and some from other family members that grew up in the same house.
It was my grandpas house, he was very holy, had various Christian effigies in his room. Anyways, I'd always hear my name being called from one of the rooms closets. My sister would say that it felt like someone was watching her in her room and she said she saw something but couldn't exactly explain what it was.
Due to just the utter wrong feeling I got in that house, I'd have to sleep with someone in order to fall asleep or I'd stay up all night sacred shitless.
So I slept in my grandpas bed one night and he was very religious, had various Christian effigies around his room, even had the key to the local church and opened it every morning.
So I go to bed in there, fall asleep. Something wakes me up and you know how your eyes adjust to the darkness? I could make out everything in the room.
For some reason I was drawn to the closet, so I sat up and looked over at it. It was solid black, nothing, no light, like it was a void to another dimension and I saw 2 red eyes peering out. I got a huge adrenaline dump and laid back down and shut my eyes, I don't know how long it was until I fell back asleep.
