I had a dream a black ooze began creeping out of all the oceans simultaneously, like tar but it'd conjure up vanta black creatures/demons/spirits to kill you in this horribly brutal manner or the ooze would just stretch out and swallow you, people were rushing inland and it was going to colonize all continents. I was one of the first who saw it and had to convince a stranger to get in his car and take us inland as fast possible, accidents all over the road and after some time the military sent advanced crafts out to observe. people thought it either colonized the oceans floor and waited until it had enough juice to emerge or that it was other-worldly evil

I was very, very unsettled when I woke up. it reminded how important my health and motility is

it's pace was terrifying, it moved inland at about 3-4mph, brisk walking speed

people didn't believe me and I did question if I was having a psychotic episode

It's Synthia, the synthetic bacteria they released into the Gulf of Mexico to eat all the (carbon) oil that was spilled.

That's a conspiracy I remember hearing about but don't hear anything about anymore these days

I once had a dream where a black figure was watching me from the corner of my room while I was constantly puking black ooze, I couldn't breathe, scream or move, near the end, the ooze shaped itself into a worm/snake and I woke up.

that's what I thought too, like the unavoidable death slowly creeping in. it made me think it's weird how even when you dream, your subconscious is still below, churning out narratives and allegories, pulling it's strings on you.
