IDK if it is just my algorithm and morbid obsession with it, but it seems cannibalism has been a common topic this year.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch releases two kinda rated r/edgy ads depicting a cannibalistic serial(cereal?, lol) killer Cinnamon Square. Then you have several kinda popular YouTube channels talking about it. A drug made with human parts getting popular. Then you have the cannibalistic baby fruit AI trend. And finally, Vladimir Putin supposedly said that Americans are being fed human flesh.

There is probably more, but this is all off the top of my head.

I understand it definitely is not a recent thing, but I just do not remember it being as prevalent a topic as it is now.

Why is this so? Is there about to be a mass cannibalism related event or something? Or a disclosure?

Well I did joke about it before they released the ads. About a cannibal having a KFC book and the Queen's favorite food being KFC.
