Dream 8/23 - The Cloud of Unknowing
>been reading The Cloud of Unknowing which I highly recommend
>became semi-lucid in a dream and started talking to my brothers about it
>just as I was explaining what the cloud of unknowing means, that you know God through that which you don't know about him, that which is mysterious, that which is hidden, which you must contemplate/meditate on
>at that exact moment, an otherworldly large bell rang out and my dream ended immediately
>I felt God's presence in the bell sound and in the dream ending, as if God was simply saying with the bell "I am here, I hear you trying to reach me".
I don't know how to put it into words but it was like a psychic connection with God and I knew it wasn't just some random bell ringing in my dream, it came from God 100%. The teachings in this book WORK, you must read it. It reminds me of Buddhist meditation but in a Christian way of doing it.
As the book says, when you start contemplating on the cloud of unknowing and the cloud of forgetfulness, you may get brief glimpses of God as I did in this dream.
