Out of 20 people lurking here, only 1 is able to remember what happened in this dream. This person must be over 40 years old by now. Maybe he's reading this, maybe not. Will is free. About 30 years ago, some people were sent into a “dream” to find out what was written in the inscription on the pedestal of the horse statue, because it was thought that there was some secret technology inside and they wanted to open it somehow. The “dream” was actually a journey into the future (which is true of many dreams in general) and it looked the same for everyone who was there: The civilization we still know today no longer existed, everything was somehow broken or in ruins and the crumbling city was completely abandoned and there was nothing there except this ominous horse statue in the city center.

I'm pretty sure that there is at least one person lurking here on this website regularly who has also been in this dream. I thought I could ask him something. Or he could ask me. But maybe that's no longer relevant. We'll see.

The book came to me in a special way through a special person and I didn't touch it for a year because I was finishing a book myself (I got the Montauk book from my bookbinder) and it was very crazy to me that this book is full of anecdotes about my own books and I could remember the horse, of course, even though it looked different than the one on the cover.
